Hagenbecks Tierpark is a privately-owned zoo, which has been delighting visitors for more than 100 years. You can see more than 1,850 animals from all continents across this 19-hectare parkland. Particularly noteworthy is the elephant family, which constitutes one of the biggest elephant herds in Europe. The St. Michaelis Kirche is the most famous church in Hamburg, and a symbol of the Hanseatic city. The fabulous view over the city and harbour from the church tower is particularly impressive.

The Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg is the biggest model railway system in the world. It’s located in the historical Speicherstadt and is run by Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg GmbH. The Alte Elbtunnel, completed in 1911, connects the jetties with the harbour district in Steinwerder. Cycling tourists and pedestrians can pass through the 426.5 m long tunnel for free around the clock.
